This year Dylan is in the 5th grade. So, he gets to participate in Band. Just like everyone else in our family, he has chosen the saxophone. He absolutely loves it! I just can't wait until I do...hehe ;)
He has been "practicing" every night. I hope the lessons start to pay off soon!

Happy Birthday Dylan!!
Dylan turned 10 on Saturday! He's in the double digits now!!
We took the kids, and my dad, (it was his birthday too) out to dinner at Dylan's favorite buffet, and then to an arcade. Here's Daddy helping the boys win tickets.
Logan and I played this racing game forever!! He loved it!
Someone else in our family eats his birthday cake just like this...
Dylan got a remote control helicopter as a gift. Of course Brian and I were up
late that night playing with it!

My World Class Hubby!
Brian has achieved World Class Technician status! He was given this cake, pewter statue, and gold plaque in recognition.
He is in the red and yellow 45.
The guys were also given ride-alongs, which they could give to their wives. Unfortunatley I couldn't fit in the seat belts. Just kidding, they wouldn't let me anyway. So he gave it to his dad. Here's Rog all suited up!
They both look like they had a lot of fun!

Fun Family Vacation
We took the kids to Kansas City two weekends ago for a little family time. We went to Oceans of Fun, and the Zoo. Here is our self family portrait.
Logan coming down the slide. He is fearless, as you can imagine!
Here's Dylan coming down face first!
Brian and Dylan paddling around in a canoe. Logan got to go once too.
My Boys.
Logan is having a great time!
After swimming all day we went to the T-Rex Cafe. They had interactive dinosaurs inside and lots of special effects.
We walked around a bit after dinner and found this neat fountain. As if the kids didn't get enough water for the day.

Finally an Update!!
As many of you already know we have had a very busy year so far. In January I went back to nursing school. Shortly after, we found out I was pregnant. I had a horrible first trimester and decided to wait until after the baby comes to continue. We are due on October 7th, our first anniversary, but expect to be induced late September. It's a girl! Last week I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, so now I'm on a strict diet. So much for indulging while your pregnant. :(
The boys are doing great. They can't wait to meet their little sister.
Brian finally got his Camaro running, and is pretty happy with it. It's nice to see him again. He had been living in the shop. Ha!

Happy Birthday Logan!!
Logan turned 3 on Tuesday. I can't believe how quickly the time passes! He's getting so smart!
We went to Aunt Alyse, and Uncle Chucks to have cake!
Daddy had to help blow out the candles, because we just couldn't figure out how to blow straight. Too funny!
Then we got to go trick or treating!! Totally exciting! It was Logan's first time.
Super Logan (as he called himself) and Dylan the Vampire!!

Haunted Happenings
As you may have guessed, Ho and I had our 3rd annual Halloween party on the 28th. Yes, he picked out his own costume. I suggested some fake bullet wounds in addition, but he didn't go for it. Ha!
Girls Gone Wild!! Naughty Megan. What is it about Halloween that makes all the girls bring out their inner slut? Teehee! ;)
Here we have Dylan Dracula and Grandpa werewolf. Scary!
Strange things really do happen on Halloween. The old man actually did have a little Captain in him!!
Doctor Do No Good and Alice. (Dana and Sherri)
Kessler is having a scary good time!!
Pimps and Ho...Again.
Little Red Riding Hood, A Peacock, And Miss Censored Universe herself!

Our Fantastic Honeymoon!!
Brian and I spent two whole, wonderful weeks in Hawaii for our honeymoon. Our first week was spent on Maui, the second on Kauai.
Free Mai Tais at a luau!! Yummy!
Here is a gorgeous view of the Black Sands Beach. We stopped here on our Road to Hana adventure. The Road to Hana is 52 treacherous miles, consisting of 617 hairpin turns. It took us 3 hours and 40 minutes to get there. The rental cars advise you to turn around and go back the way you came once you get there, because the road becomes unstable if you continue on.
Here is Brian standing on the edge of a cliff that was made from lava.
Here I am at the same spot.
This is one of the many beautiful waterfalls along the Road to Hana. Simply breathtaking.
Cow!!!! So naturally, once we got to Hana, we decided to hell with the rental car company we weren't going to endure all those turns for another 3 hours and 40 minutes. I don't think this is what they meant by hazardous roads. Ha! Very amusing though.
I love this picture! I took it when we took a day trip over to the island of Lanai. We snorkeled and sat on the beach the whole day!
My beach bum husband
Our Maui Kayaking adventure. It was a lot of fun to jump off into the water and snorkel and then climb back in, in the middle of the ocean. No, we did not tip the kayak over. Yay!
I was in front, so my husband could paddle me around...haha.
The cool new camera I bought really did work under water!
On the left is our kayaking guide, Kaleo. He dove down and brought up many sea creatures. This is the octopus. We were amazed!
The Maui Princess Sunset Dinner Cruise. More free drinks for the newlyweds!!
Now we must be on Kauai. How can you tell? The chickens, duh. We've told you about them. They're all over the place!
Here I am standing between the ocean and the beautiful Marriott Resort we stayed at on Kauai. During all the flooding there this spring that spot was completely under water, even the fountains you see in the back!
Hubby loves a hammock!
The coolest way to see the entire island. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, it was amazing!
Don't we look cool!
We flew right over our hotel.
And right over the waterfall Brian went to on the dirt bike tour last year.
Brian became obsessed with sushi. I'm not kidding. We just had to have it nearly everyday!
We just had to rent a Harley while we were there. We drove it around the entire island.
We rode to the Waimea Canyon. The islands version of the Grand Canyon.
And we rode to our favorite spot to watch the sunset. A perfect way to end our last day.
